My purpose as a Professional Christian Life Coach is to help you be and achieve all that you desire by giving you the tools and space for greater clarity, to know yourself, and to help you discover the depths your heart. In fact, it's likely you will explore and discover options for more than you currently desire, simply because you are not yet aware of them.
Imagine having such clarity of your life's mission that ways to make it a reality virtually present themselves.
Picture yourself living out your God-given compassion, not just dreaming of being true to yourself one day.
Feel the abundance of peace and joy in your life because you are living it on purpose and with purpose.
Shiver with excitement at the discovery of what is most important to you in your service to God and others.
These and many other benefits are the reasons hundreds of thousands of people have already sought out life coaching for themselves. You too can experience these and even greater benefits by working with a Professional Christian Life Coach who is compassionate and caring, willing to believe in your passions, and actively listens to the voice of your heart.
Why Would I Want Professional Christian Life Coaching?
If you ever wanted to explore and discover your life’s purpose, a vision for your future, the practicality of a passion, or develop a specific plan to successfully transition onto your unique path in life, then it’s likely you could profoundly benefit from life coaching. Consider these reasons why life coaching might be beneficial for you, and then read again the ones that resonate with your heart.
You’re stuck in a rut and want to do something different with your life, but not sure what.
You lead a ministry that reached a plateau of growth and you want to inject new life into it.
You’ve struggled with your Christian identity and not sure if a new church is needed, or something much greater.
You want to explore the depths of your heart and soul, and then translate what you find into tangible goals.
You pray for the wisdom of God to see His will for your life’s purpose, vision, and mission, but the answer is unclear.
You have specific mundane life challenges keeping you stuck, mixed with large ambiguous goals for your life.
You simply want to understand yourself better. What makes you excited? What drives your choices?
You need answers! Why am I here, really? How can I serve God and others? Is where I am all there is to life?
Of course, there are many questions, topics, goals, visions, etc, well-suited to life coaching. Many people start with smaller goals until they get comfortable with the process. Then they begin to realize the possibilities of stretching even further and reaching even higher. Others have huge goals and ideas, but don't know where to begin or how to harness that enthusiasm. The list above is only a small fraction of what’s possible with life coaching. Contact me now to learn more about how life coaching applies to your situation. If you've ever heard yourself saying, "Yes, I know, but..." then life coaching could be the catalyst you've been waiting for to go from thinking about designing something that flies to successfully launching the Space Shuttle in your life.
How Soon Will I Experience the Benefits of Life Coaching?
Life coaching is not pharmaceutical science. There are no clinical trials that help determine a predictable efficacy of life coaching methods. You know what I’m going to say next; it’s mostly up to you. Typically, there is exponentially increased momentum in the practical outcome of a life coaching relationship.
It's like discovering the benefits of eating fresh vegetables. You may start with one or two, but then explore other vegetables to find out what you like, and what agrees with your body and lifestyle. Then your body starts to give favorable feedback about your new eating habits. You have more physical strength and endurance. You have more resilience to stress. You notice greater awareness of your environment and how it affects you. You have a sharper mind and clarity of thought.
With these benefits, you can do more of what you thought you could never do. Now, look back and ask, "How soon did I experience the benefits of eating fresh vegetables?" It would just as truthful to answer right away as it would to say, "When I started doing things I thought I could never do." Or, "It started when I made a positive decision for myself."
What can I Expect During the Course of Life Coaching?
Notice I said “It's mostly up to you” and not “entirely.” As your life coach, my job is to help you spring forward with greater insights into your self, your passions, your life as a Christian, your spiritual identity, your goals, etc. In short, your agenda. So, part of the pace you set is going to be influenced by the energy of the relationship itself.
At times, you may feel significantly more inspired or motivated than others. Sometimes you achieve more than you thought you could, while other times it's a struggle just to get out of bed. Ebbs and flows are natural occurrences in life and are to be expected. As the professional life coaching relationship develops, we get better at riding the ebbs and flows together and using the dynamics of the relationship for even more powerful revelations for your life.
As you grow, you may find yourself exploring other horizons, or reaching for higher goals. All this is good. The object is not to arrive at a destination. The object is to give purpose and clarity to your journey.
When Do I Know I’m Ready to Get Started?
That’s easy to answer, but not always easy to recognize. The simple answer is you are ready for life coaching when you can’t wait to get started. How do you recognize that? Listen very carefully to the words your brain uses as it spins through all this information.
This doesn’t mean the purpose for seeking life coaching will be crystal clear, nor should you attempt to wait for that to happen. It may very well be fuzzy! But, the point of recognition will be when you start to get a clear sense that the benefits of life coaching will probably outweigh the pain of staying where you are. It’s not so much as, “Oh well. What could I lose?” Rather, you start to wonder, “Hmmm. What could I gain?”
Okay, I’m Ready! How Do I Get Started?
Remember the saying, “the journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step”? Well, times have changed. The journey of a thousand miles now begins with downloading a Travelocity app to your smart phone to compare flights of major airlines.
Similarly, you don’t have to start life coaching by marching to a different drum beat. Just contact me to ask questions or schedule an informational and discovery call whether you've read the material or not, so you can...
Learn first-hand what life coaching can specifically do for you.
Discover what I’m like as a life coach and learn about me as a person.
Observe what you experience in your heart and soul during the call.
There is no obligation to continue. My approach is gentle. If you stop listening, I'll stop talking. But, if you stop talking, I'll still listen.
What if I am Not a Christian?
You don't have to be Christian to benefit from Life Coaching, just like you don't have to be a Professional Life Coach either. The term is used to describe my identity, not to qualify your eligibility. My job is not to judge your spiritual status. Coming to know Jesus Christ is deeply personal. For me, coming to know Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior was not a simple or sudden event. I was confused over so many denominations. It was a journey of skepticism and doubt that slowly got clearer until the doubt melted away. I would most certainly welcome you no matter where you are on that path because I know what's like; I've been there.
If You Are a Christian...
As a Professional Christian Life Coach my agenda is your agenda. Our coaching relationship is about the heart of your journey with Christ, your life's purpose, and your growth in the truth of your Father in heaven. Don't wait an eternity to get started living the life God intended for you to live. Contact me now, and let's focus on things above and get started immediately in using your time wisely to grow in grace and truth.
And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. (John 17:3)
